Covid Compliant Shows

Welcome to the Planetarium

We are now taking advance bookings for Schools, colleges, youth and adult groups.

Our public shows are also open for booking, but all reservations must be made in advance andĀ online. We regret that we cannot admit casual visitors.

We are open from 45 minutes before the advertised start times of the public shows.

With the Covid infection rates high and rising in virtually all parts of England, we are committed to following the official guidance for indoor venues. We have put in place greatly improved ventilation and enhanced air quality and additional deep cleaning of the building and seating areas.

However, we ask all our patrons over 11 years of age to wear face coverings at all times while inside the building, to keep at least one metre apart from people you do not normally mix with, to sanitise your hands on arrival and to exercise good hand hygiene throughout the visit. This is for the safety not only of our visitors but also our team of dedicated volunteers, without whom the Planetarium could not operate.

We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
