Gas clouds in the constellation Cygnus
Studded with fabulous star clusters and beautiful, multi-coloured clouds of gas streaked with dust, the faintly glowing band of the Milky Way arches almost overhead from horizon to horizon at this time of year.

Come to the Planetarium for an exciting journey through our Galaxy to see at first hand the wonder of new stars being born, planetary systems in the making, the growing pains of young stars, and the entrails of an exploded star. Travel to the Galactic Centre where, hidden behind dark clouds, a massive black hole may lurk unseen.
